Take part in a group workshop day to discover or deepen your understanding of the fundamentals of musical improvisation.
Throughout the day, we will explore several areas of work:
	- Analyzing a chord progression
	- Choosing notes and scales according to the harmony
	- Working on rhythm and motifs: repetition, variation, and development of musical ideas
	- Studying common chord progressions: blues, jazz cadences and contemporary music, modal groove on a single chord
	- Practical application in a jam-session format: solo exchanges, active listening, and visual interaction between musicians

Schedule of the day:
	- 10:00 am: Welcome of participants, introduction of the coach and attendees
	- 10:30 am – 1:00 pm: First working session
	- 1:30 pm – 2:30 pm: Lunch break at La Coloc’à Sons (community social venue)
Meal costs (main course + dessert + coffee or soft drink) are included in the participation fee!
	- 2:30 pm – 6:00 pm: Second working session
6:00 pm: Closing drink to wrap up the workshop — for those who wish!
